Our client, a market leading engineering and manufacturing organisation in Birmingham, with a global customer base are hiring for a Maintenance Manager to support to manage their large Maintenance Engineering department. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, managing cross functional and multi disciplined maintenance engineering team.

Maintenance Manager
Job Description
  • Driving and improving department morale
  • Manage the planning and setting objectives for the Maintenance department
  • Identifying and organising training requirements
  • Setting and maintaining maintenance KPI’s
  • Ensuing all PPM schedules are adhered to and that prompt reactive maintenance is carried out

Maintenance Manager
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • 5 years experience minimum in a similar Maintenance Manager position
  • Management of a large maintenance function
  • Time-served electrical or mechanical engineering background
  • HNC level education in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Strong personnel management skills
  • CAPEX project management experience
  • Able to develop maintenance processes and drive equipment efficiencies
