Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location : Wellingborough

Salary: £48,000 per annum

Hours: Monday- Friday 7am- 3:30pm Candidate will be expected to work one Saturday a month 6am-11pm inclusive of salary.

The Role

To ensure that all aspects of building / plant maintenance within Bushboard Ltd.’s premises and any other duties as requested by your Manager are undertaken in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be required to liaise with sub-contractors / machinery manufacturers for upkeep / installation relating to any works required.
  • To work as part of the maintenance team to fulfil the maintenance requirements of the Company.
  • To prioritise and ensure Health & Safety works for ongoing compliance of the Company’s Health & Safety Policy is maintained.
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of team.
  • Maintain a safe and productive working area.
  • Other duties as role develops.
  • Candidates should be time served apprentices and have a minimum NVQ level 3 in engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Multiskilled engineering experience (electrical, mechanical).
  • Electrical Knowledge ideally 18th Edition
  • PLC Knowledge
  • Inverter Drive Knowledge
  • 60% work is mechanical so an understanding of Hydraulics / Pneumatics
