An exciting new opportunity has arisen with a global leading packaging Manufactures for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the production team. You will play a crucial role in providing a continuous equipment maintenance service to the Production Department.

Responsibilities

  • Minimizing machine downtime while sustaining manufacturing performance
  • Ensuring that machine equipment, tooling, and spares are promptly repaired and refurbished to meet
  • Maintaining Hot End equipment, which involves handling mold equipment weighing between 5kg to 45kg, to a level that guarantees optimal machine efficiency and manufacturing performance
  • Identifying and resolving equipment faults
  • Apply the Company Health and Safety Policy within the department
  • Upholding high standards of housekeeping and health & safety in the work area consistently
  • Ensure that all essential maintenance information is documented using approved documentation and procedures
  • 1 in 5 weeks On Call

Ideal Candidate

  • Fully apprentice trained or equivalent
  • ONC in Mechanical Engineering
  • Attention to detail
  • Technical knowledge
  • Problem solving
  • Enthusiastic and committed, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Manufacturing background
