A great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics / automation company as a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailers automated distribution centre in Derbyshire. This role will suit Maintenance Engineer’s located in Burton on Trent, Lichfield, Tamworth or South Derbyshire. 

The facility is 30 metres in height and over 600,000 sq ft with extensive loading areas and substantial automated systems for you to work on.

  • Salary of c£44k + Healthcare + Pension
  • Continental shift pattern (12 hour days and nights)  

Day to day activities of a Maintenance Engineer include :

  • Reactive maintenance
  • Planned maintenance
  • Electro-mechanical engineering
  • Controls fault finding
  • Problem analysis and continuous improvement

Looking for multi skilled Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, ideally with an understanding of PLC’s.

Requirements of Maintenance Engineer:

  • Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications
  • Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7
  • Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential
  • Happy to work a continental shift pattern with days and nights.
  • Ok to work at heights when needed (via harnesses and full training etc)
