Maintenance Engineer

Requirements: As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Providing technical expertise, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance is completed to the highest standards
• Troubleshooting within the hired bias (electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled)
• Guiding the Maintenance Technicians and supporting the Shift Manager with high level technical expertise
• Supporting continuous improvement at site and feedback ideas

This is a highly autonomous role where you will be working on high standard equipment in line with current legislation and all H&S procedures that are in place.

This role has a rotating shift pattern that covers days and nights.

For the successful Maintenance Engineer, we are looking for the following qualities:

• ONC/HNC, BTEC or NVQ L3+ in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in Conveyors, Sorters, Cranes or similar
• Knowledge of PLC/Controls systems
• Understanding of WCS/WMS or SCADA equivalent
• Self-motivated and able to work and motivate others
• Able to maintain effective professional working relationships
• Ability to work at height
