Maintenance Engineer

Your new company
Working for a global manufacturer of food products who supply retail outlets in over 100 countries, they are the second largest food producer in the world.
Your new role
You will be joining an experienced Engineering team, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of days and nights, you will undertake a wide range of tasks including planned preventative maintenance as well as providing efficient response to any breakdowns, recording all downtime accurately on the CMMS system and supporting root cause investigations to reduce any reoccurences. You will require strong IT skills to fully utilise the CMMS system, good communication skills to liaise with your internal stakeholders including production, technical and health and safety teams.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have completed a maintenance apprenticeship or be similarly qualified with City and Guilds level 3 electrical installations as an entry point, have experience gained within a manufacturing environment, fault-finding ability, experience of pneumatics, hydraulics and PLC's.
