Role – Maintenance Engineer position
Location – Based close to Newmarket, Suffolk
Working hours – Full time hours – Monday to Friday
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary – Depending on experience – up to £40,000 per annum

A company that we are representing is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Applicants will need to be flexible to working hours.

Main duties will include –

 To assist with and fix and maintain all machinery within the workshop
 Establishing and identifying machinery issues and troubleshooting problematic areas.
 To conduct frequent quality checks on all machinery onsite
 Supporting other staffing to ensure that all maintenance schedules are fulfilled.
 Completing emergency maintenance when equipment breaks down
 To assist other areas of the business in a Maintenance role as and when required.

Candidate attributes –
 Applicants will need to have general workshop machinery and equipment.
 Candidates will need to be conversant with production machinery and ideally will have between 5-10 years working knowledge of maintaining production based machinery.
 Candidates will need to have a good mechanical aptitude and will be capable of stripping down all based engineering based machinery.
 This role will boast working a multitude of hours as and when required
