Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Enclosing (Nights)

Location: Wymondham, Norfolk

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum

Hours: Nights: Week 1 - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, contracted hours, working 7.00pm to 7.00am, working 11 hours per shift.

Week 2 - Monday and Tuesday, working 7.00pm to 7.00am, working 11 hours per shift.

Our client, a leading customer communications company, is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Role Purpose:

The primary role of this position involves delivering comprehensive support in Preventative, Corrective, and Reactive maintenance to the operations team, facilitating seamless management of our auto-fulfilment site assets. The position also requires ensuring that the manufacturing assets function with optimal efficiency and reliability. An essential part of your duty will be the promotion of continuous improvement, aiming to minimise operational downtime and maximise efficiencies.

You should thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced learning environment and possess extensive knowledge about Bluecrest enclosing machines, which forms a key element of our operations.

Main Duties:

  • Work to defined standard operating procedures in line with the businesses methodology
  • Monitor shift throughput, downtime and efficiencies
  • Identify and eliminate breakdown time proactively by using continuous improvement methodologies
  • Maintenance of a safe and environmentally aware working environment which is fully compliant with all Health, Safety and Environmental obligations.
  • Lead the drive for continuous improvement in operational efficiency and service execution
  • Learn from existing engineers
