Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise? We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join our client's dynamic team in Blyth.

Salary: £35K - Going up to £37.8K following HV training

Shifts: Day Shift Position

At our client's thriving company, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of cargo handling equipment, including FLT, cranes, and heavy plant. If you have previous experience working with these types of equipment both mechanically and electrically, this will be a significant advantage.

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical engineering maintenance work on all electrical services, systems, plant, and equipment. You will also be involved in both planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns. In addition, you will be responsible for electrical installations, ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with current regulations.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, services, and regulations.
  • Experience working with cargo handling equipment (FLT, cranes, and heavy plant) is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
