Maintenance Electrician required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer within the fabrication industry based in the West Bromwich area. Due to continued success, they are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maintenance Electrician to join the team.

Maintenance Electrician Position Overview

  • Responding to breakdowns and supporting the repair and planned maintenance of machinery, hydraulics and control systems
  • Assisting the design of machinery installations
  • Working to reduce machinery breakdowns through planned preventative maintenance
  • Fault finding on PLC's and controls systems
  • Ensuring health and safety practices are followed

Maintenance Electrician Position Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer
  • City & Guilds 18th edition wiring regulations qualification is advantageous
  • Based in a commutable distance of West Bromwich
  • Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics is an advantage
  • Understanding of PLC and control systems
  • Good attention to detail

Maintenance Electrician Position Remuneration

  • Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00. Friday 08:00 - 15:00. 39-hour week.
  • Holiday allowance and pension
