Location: Chelmsford

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Are you a reliable and skilled driver looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a Maintenance / Driver to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the smooth operation of the business by transporting both people and goods to various locations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Safely transporting patients, children, and adults to different activities, following the Driving Policy, and using efficient routes.
• Driving staff and visitors to and from the business, while also collecting and delivering consumables and assets.
• Taking care of regular cleaning, fuelling, maintenance, and servicing of the vehicles, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
• Assisting the regional management team in implementing new and improved services.
• Reviewing the pricing of the service based on demand.
• Maintain a well-decorated, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the site, adhering to quality standards and statutory regulations.

• Report and take action on any damage, faults, or related issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks as outlined in the Maintenance Guide.
• Conduct compliance testing, such as fire alarms and inspections, as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A full UK driving licence.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Previous experience in a driving-based role.
• Experience or understanding in a building, plumbing, mechanical, or electrical discipline would be desirable.
