Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Our client is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join their team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for colleagues, service users, and visitors.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintain a well-decorated, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the site, adhering to quality standards and statutory regulations.
• Deliver minimum standards in all site areas, working collaboratively with the team.
• Report and take action on any damage, faults, or related issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks as outlined in the Maintenance Guide.
• Conduct compliance testing, such as fire alarms and inspections, as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Provide a security service, ensuring the building's integrity.
• Undertake regular internal and external patrols to maintain security and report any incidents.
• Comply with health and safety regulations, minimising risk.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A full UK driving licence.

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience or understanding in a building, plumbing, mechanical, or electrical discipline would be desirable.
