Machine Setter:

Rochester

Salary: £28K with overtime plenty of overtime opportunities

Day Shifts, including some weekends

This company are one of the UK's leading manufacturers in their field and due to growth they are looking to add to their team. We're on the lookout for an experienced Machine Setter as they continue to expand. Despite our growth, they have maintained a close-knit, family-like atmosphere. If you have the skills we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you!

Duties:

  • Set up and adjust machinery for optimal performance
  • Load products onto machines accurately and efficiently
  • Operate machinery with care and attention to detail
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed
  • Keep thorough records of machine operations
  • Report any malfunctions promptly
  • Meet productivity targets while supporting the team with daily tasks

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with ULMA, Redpack, or Palletisers is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to work well in a team
