Are you an experienced machine setter and looking for an immediate start in Speke?

Proactive Personnel currently recruiting on behalf of an expanding business based on Speke industrial estate.

The business is brilliant at retaining and developing staff, and in this role as a machine setter you can expect to be challenged and have progression opportunities within the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Being responsible for safe co-ordination & operation of machinery on site.
  • Set up machinery and equipment according to specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings to achieve desired output.
  • Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency
  • Ensuring product quality is maintained at all times.
  • Making sure the equipment in use meets production targets.
  • Conducting risk assessments for manufacturing machinery & manual handling equipment.
  • Ensuring standard operating procedures are followed at all times.

YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Experience in setting high speed machinery.
  • The ability to work a variety of shifts.
  • Good written English communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively unsupervised.
