The role is setting and running production machinery – changing tooling and setting the machine to produce a high-quality product.

The settings differ for each component. Batch sizes are small, typically less than 100, and as a consequence more time is usually spent setting the machine than running it.

A high level of detail and accuracy is required to ensure parts are correct to 0.025 of a mm.

The business has been manufacturing, precision engineered, nuts, bolts, and special fasteners for aerospace, automotive, F1, wind turbine and general engineering customers for over 100 years.

The role requires the following key attributes:

• Mechanical aptitude.
• A methodical and detailed approach.
• An ability to understand technical drawings.
• Comfortable and accurate with manual measuring.
• Focus on quality of work and not volume.

Full training will be provided.
