Looking for an exciting opportunity as a Machine Operator? Look no further! Our client, a renowned organisation based in Clitheroe, is seeking a diligent and skilled individual to join their dynamic team as a Machine Operator on a temporary basis.

What will you be doing? Well, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a steady throughput on machines to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Providing temporary cover for colleagues when they need to step away from their machines.
  • Loading strip as required, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Oil presses using the correct lubricant for optimal performance.
  • Sorting, cleaning, and packing components according to production and customer specifications.
  • Preparing packing materials to safeguard product integrity.
  • Carrying out line clearance procedures to maintain a clean and organised workspace.
  • Conducting basic maintenance procedures, such as machine clean downs.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to troubleshoot machine problems.
  • Recording press readings on statistical process charts to assess and adjust the process if necessary.
  • Completing compliance and cGMP documentation accurately and thoroughly.
  • Supporting and mentoring trainees and colleagues in all departments.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safe working practises.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
