Machine Operative

Location: Huddersfield, Halifax, Elland.

Duration: Temporary and Temporary - Permanent

Various working hours available:

• Rotating shifts 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
• 12 hours shifts 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am (not rotating)
• Days, 7am - 4pm.

Pay rate: £11.44p/h - £13p/h

Stafflex are working with multiple well-known, established companies across West-Yorkshire and are actively looking for skilled machine operatives. If you are willing to learn and develop, are reliable with a good eye for detail this might be the role for you!

Duties:

• Operating machinery - full training will be given.
• Setting machinery.
• Cutting / trimming products.
• Manual handling.
• Wrapping goods ready for despatch.

Previous machine experience advantageous:

• CNC machine
• Extrusion machine
• Textile machinery
• Moulding machine
• Beam Saws
• Drill Machines
• Lathes

Desired qualities / competencies:

• Good communication
• Great eye for detail
• Willingness to learn
• Working on your own initiative
• Reliability
