Machine Operator

Experienced Machine Operator required for our growing client based in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire. 

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of operating machinery in a production/manufacturing environment. This is a temp to perm position with the successful candidate offered a permanent contract after a successful 12 week temping period.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Maintaining machines 
• Quality checking finished product
• Working to achieve daily targets
• General housekeeping of your work station
• Other general duties as required by management

Skills/Experience

• The ideal candidate will have operated machinery in a production/manufacturing environment 
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Able to work off your own initiative
• Must be a good team player with good communication skills

Hours & Pay

Rotating shifts as follows: 

Week 1

06:00 until 14:00 - Monday to Friday 

Week 2

13:45 until 22:00 - Monday to Thursday 

13:45 until 20:45 - Friday 

£13.00 - 14.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
