We are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join an innovative and fast growing business using the latest CNC technology to manufacture sheet metal into a carbon neutral product – the first of its kind in the UK based in Deeside on a permanent full time basis.

As Machine Operator you will be working Afters: Monday to Thursday 2pm-11pm and Friday 12pm-6pm

Hourly rate: £14 per hour plus excellent benefits as below

Reporting into the Press Shop Manager, you will be working as part of a team of 3-4 Machine Operators with the following responsibilities:

  • Operating press brakes and turret punch press machines
  • Working with sheet metal mainly in the manufacture of storage solutions
  • Reading and interpreting technical specifications to set the machines
  • Perform regular maintenance, inspect metal while shaping it, and make adjustments as needed
  • Ensure there are sufficient raw materials available
  • Measure and align materials to be used

We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working as a Machine Operator, CNC Operator, Press Brake Operator or Similar
  • Good knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing
  • Prior knowledge of CNC turret punch press machines or Amada press brakes ideally
  • Ability to read technical specifications
  • Experience of working in fast paced environment working to targets
