SWIFT Temps Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator, Temp to Permanent role, Ilkley

About the role:

  • You will be responsible for operating bending machines to fabricate metal components according to specifications.
  • You will work within an engineering & production environment
  • To work as a Bending Machine Operative/Production Operative
  • Operate bending machines to bend metal components according to job specifications
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and address any defects or discrepancies in the production process.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, including supervisors, machine operators, and quality control personnel, to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • To work with metals handling raw materials and finished products
  • This environment includes exposure to loud noises, moving machinery, and various materials. PPE such as safety goggles, gloves, and ear protection may be required.

Monday to Friday 38.25 hours per week

Working Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm, Fridays 7:30am to 12:45pm- 38.25 hours per week

Pay rate £10.70 to rise after April 24’ to £11.74 per hour
