Our client, a leading main contractor, is currently seeking Mechanical & Electrical Supervisors to join their project team for a gigafactory development in Tyne & Wear. This project marks a significant expansion in the region's manufacturing capacity and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a pioneering venture.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and coordination of mechanical & electrical construction management staff.
  • Ensure the delivery of agreed mechanical & electrical construction performance targets for the defined project.
  • Manage all aspects of work and site control for the construction phase on behalf of the Project Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to all company management systems and license conditions.
  • Deliver Safety, Quality, Environmental, Security, and Health (SQESH) performance against company policy and management systems.
  • Manage mechanical & electrical construction management resources effectively and ensure suitable qualifications and experience.
  • Provide technical advice during the development and construction phases.
  • Accurately report all mechanical & electrical activities and issues affecting progress and quality.
  • Coordinate the integration of contractor design, manufacture, and implementation packages.


Requirements:

Mechanical or electrical bias with a preference for formal qualifications such as ONC (Ordinary National Certificate) or HND (Higher National Diplomas) or equivalent in a Construction-related discipline.
Possess CSCS Black and a Site Supervision certification (SSSTS or SMSTS).
