M&E Engineer

Catch 22 are partnered with a national Facilities Management company working on commercial and industrial contracts throughout the North West. They are looking for a M&E Engineer to join their team working in the North West region.

Main responsibilities of the M&E Engineer; 

• Report into the Contracts Engineer, Contract Manager and Qualifying Supervisor
• Ensure all test equipment is maintained and calibrated to the required standard
• Ensure all work is to the standard of Lorne Stewart's Electrical Procedures
• Carry out all Mechanical & Electrical PPM as instructed by Line Manager
• Carry out electrical installation works for small projects
• Carry out reactive Electrical, Mechanical & Fabric jobs.
• Carry out all reactive faults within the set timescales as dictated by the specific
• contracts
• Inspections and associated operational activities

Carry out on call duties when required (Weekly on a 1:4/1:5 rota)

Hours of work: Mon -Fri 08,00 - 17.00

The ideal candidate will be;

• Capable of carrying out electrical fault finding
• Able to carry out PAT testing
• Be qualified to 18th Edition Standard
• Have a good understanding of electrical systems
• Clean UK Driving License
• IOSH Managing Safely
• Previous experience in a similar working role
• Must be conversant with Health & Safety requirements 
• To be able to work alone or as part of a team with working unsociable hours as part of a shift rota
• Able to work to tight timescales
• Have a flexible approach and be able to work in a proactive manner

• Salary of around £36,000 depending on experience.
• Working hours between 08:00-17:00 Mon-Fri
