M&E CAD Technician

An M&E CAD Technician is required to join a leading and reputable consultancy based in Witney. Our client has an extensive list of completed and ongoing projects ranging from large-scale new build and refurbishment projects.

Our client has high expectations of their new recruits; therefore, a successful M&E CAD Technician is most likely to display eagerness and enthusiasm for the new opportunity; interest in the practice and their ethos including the type of projects they'd be working on; a willingness to learn and take on information when needed.

Day to day as an employee of this practice, you need to ensure quality of delivery when producing or updating REVIT drawings to the CAD standards as well as thorough checking and accuracy of deliverables and record documentation.

This role seeks an individual who has good knowledge of Revit software and good building services experience. Our client has passion for exceptional customer service and have an impressive portfolio of long-standing relationships.

M&E CAD Technician Position Overview

• Ensure quality of delivery when producing or updating REVIT M&E drawings to the CAD standards
• Ensure thorough checking and accuracy of deliverables and record documentation
• Produce schematic, general arrangement and detailed drawings in accordance with the relevant standards and procedures
• Maintain drawing records and ensuring accurate document control
• Communicate and collaborate with the other disciplines

M&E CAD Technician Position Requirements

• 2 years' experience of using AutoCAD / Revit and working in a Building Services Consultancy.
• Understanding of the built environment and how buildings are constructed.
• Knowledge of M&E engineering services.
• Relevant qualification (HNC or above), or proven experience.
• Revit and BIM knowledge - desirable.
• Ability to work with attention to detail and accuracy.

M&E CAD Technician Position Remuneration

• Competitive Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
• 5% company pension scheme
