They have a specialist Financial Services (FS) M&A team that focuses on delivering M&A advisory services to clients across the FS landscape, including insurance, asset and wealth management, specialist finance, leasing, mortgages, payments and fintech.

Off-the-back of this continued growth, my client is looking to expand this team and are looking to recruit an ambitious and proactive Lead Advisor who has proven deal experience and understanding of the Financial Services sector.

To qualify, you will ideally be ACA or CFA qualified with at least 3-5 years of experience in an Advisory role, where you will have worked on M&A Lead Advisory assignments in the FS space. You will have strong technical, influencing and negotiating skills, coupled with the ability to pre-empt critical issues and communicate these effectively with stakeholders and your team.

You will also have strong client skills, with the ability to lead from the front and train/mentor members of the team.

You will have gained this experience with a leading corporate finance practice/boutique firm OR as part of the internal M&A team of a major Financial Services firm, such as a major Insurance or Asset/Wealth Management firm.
