About the company and job:

This consultancy specializes in energy management and building services engineering, consulting on multi-million pound new-build, refurbishments, and energy efficiency projects across public and private sectors. They are now looking for a Low Carbon Consultant to join the small team based in Park Gate, Hampshire. This could be someone who has recently graduated with a relevant degree (Building Services Engineering, Sustainability, or Architectural Engineering), someone with a few months’ experience in an energy-related role, or someone looking to transfer from a mechanical or electrical building services role.

Combining energy management with technical design to tailor solutions to reduce building energy consumption and carbon emissions, this business is there from the beginning to the very end of their projects.

You will take part in carbon reporting, energy audits, feasibility studies, heat networks, and net zero carbon trajectories.

What is required from the successful Low Carbon Consultant?
  • Building Services or Sustainability or Architectural Engineering degree.
  • Knowledge on software like IES or DesignBuilder would be a plus.
  • Driving licence would be ideal for site visits.
  • Passion for sustainability and desire to work in the industry.
