Kingspan have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Operative to join our team based in Pembridge. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary of £33,182 per annum inclusive of night shift allowance.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Operative to join our team.

As the Logistics Operative you will be focusing on all routine and non-routine activities associated with the department from incoming raw materials through to finished product in line with procedures and standards.

Responsibilities of our Logistics Operative:

  • High degree of processes/ machinery skills, knowledge and ability:
    • Fully trained and be able to operate machinery and equipment to the required standards,
    • Work in accordance with all information, instruction, training and supervision
    • Perform scheduled cleaning duties and basic maintenance activities
    • Periodically test the operation of machine safety features
  • Understanding of personal behaviours which have a positive impact over:
    • Health & Safety, energy, environmental and quality performance and compliance
    • KPIs, targets and current performance against these targets
  • Effective application of Quality requirements:
    • Understanding of product quality critical characteristics and standards,
    • Periodically inspect products and record results
  • Awareness of Company management systems;
    • Involvement and engagement with the Kingspan culture
    • Reporting accidents, incidents and events
    • Cooperating with management on continual improvement programs
    • High level of process understanding underpinned by working in compliance with relevant policies, procedures and risk assessments
    • Involvement in the development and review of risk assessments
  • Support and promote effective communication as a member of the team
  • Responsible for following a program of personal development

What we are looking for in our Logistics Operative:

You will be:

  • Flexible and willing to be trained in multiple areas whatever department and area this may be
  • A good team player with a “Can do attitude”

Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:

  • Full driving licence
  • Accredited lift truck training
  • Previous experience working in a factory/ manufacturing process environment
  • Able to follow instruction and production schedules
  • Basic understanding of touch screen technology
  • Experience of working with various IT programs i.e. MS Word, Excel
  • Able to act quickly when problems arise
