An exciting and interesting opportunity has arisen for our client a leading and global distributor based in London. This is a hybrid role and you will go into the office only 2 days per week. Due to further expected growth in the business, the required candidate will be specifically involved in their EU Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for deliveries throughout the EU, Tracking of Shipments and handling of non-conformances. The main duties will be:

  • Arranging deliveries to customers from Warehouses in the UK and EU by Road, Ferry and Courier
  • Liaison with customers, Warehouses and Carriers
  • Input of correct information onto internal system, to create forward allocations and Warehouse instructions
  • Invoicing customers promptly with correct VAT calculated
  • Preparing Shipping Documents
  • Handling enquires, complaints and other aspects of customer service as required
  • Monthly stock reconciliations, and handling follow-on enquiries from the Finance department.

Fluency in English is essential and any other European language will be an advantage. Must be detailed orientated and have excellent organisational skills. A strong background and understanding of Logistics and knowledge of ERP System. A very high level of customer service skills is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a sought after company. This is a 12 month FTC. Excellent benefits.
