We have an exciting opportunity to join our client based in Wickford as a Logistics Coordinator on a permanent basis.

We are looking for someone with good communication skills and experience in data entry to accurately update customers orders on the system. Attention to detail is essential in the role as well as having experience of using a forklift truck.

Your responsibilities will involve a wide range of duties including maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Duties for the role will include:

  • Processing, picking and packing sales orders from receipt to dispatch.
  • General use of forklift and other mechanical tools.
  • Operating and understanding IT systems - Including Microsoft Office 365 and shipping platforms
  • Maintaining statistical and shipping records - purchase orders, delivery notes, receipts, serial number logs and shipping invoices.
  • Administering stock control - stock takes, stock transfers, random stock checks, Bar code system, pro-actively organises warehouse space.
  • Speaking with suppliers and customers on an ad hoc basis regarding inbound/outbound deliveries.
  • Answering the overflow calls.
  • Waste disposal and recycling

Suitable candidates will need to hold a valid Counter Balance Licence.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

The client is offering a salary between £25,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
