Logistics Coordinator - 39527

£24.07/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)

12 months

Location: Coventry and Gaydon

Position Description:

You will assist with the distribution, transportation of vehicles, vehicle properties, lithium Ion batteries and associated parts to meet engineering operational requirements within the UK, EU and RoW. Global Engineering Logistics (GEL) team complete all logistic movements and requests ensuring customer requests are completed on time and in full (OTIF).

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Dangerous Goods by Road, Sea and AIR (ADR/ IMDG/ IATA) experience, in particular Class 9: Miscellaneous goods.
  • Transport planning and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good IT skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a hugely complex logistic and transport environment
  • Self-motivated and assertive, communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in dangerous goods movements with a understanding of export control items.

Preferred:

  • Dangerous goods and the documentation required to meet all ADR regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of export controlled goods and what products or items may require a licence prior to export and movement into the EU/ RoW.
