About the role

We're currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator at our Ely site. In this role, you will be supporting the day-to-day logistics operations - coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. You will work independently and as a part of a team, maintaining and improving administrative service and support. Immersed into the world of manufacturing and supply chain, you will be working with a wide range of internal teams, gaining a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that outwork paperwork is completed correctly

  • Filing and general administrative tasks

  • Booking in vehicles and products onto the in-house system

  • In-person and phone communication with delivery and collection drivers

  • Dealing with hauliers over the phone/e-mail to receive completed paperwork in a timely manner, and advising of any issues or discrepancies

  • Communicating with internal teams regarding potential delivery issues.

About You

  • Previous administration experience, ideally in Transport/Logistics (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Good IT literacy and English language skills.
