Logistics Administrator  - Derby


We are looking for a Logistics Administrator to contribute towards Quadralene’s strategic vision, working as part of our Warehouse & Logistics team at our new UK Headquarters and Centre of Excellence for Chemistry in Derby. 

As the Logistics Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for customers and will be responsible for tracking Key Performance Indicators for a busy and expanding department. You will play a vital part of the UK supply chain, dealing with invoices and deliveries in a timely manner and collaborating with others to ensure first class service is provided at all times. You will have the opportunity to make a difference by helping the department achieve month end targets, making sure the department has full traceability, and ensuring that all goods pass through in accordance with company procedures .

Day to day responsibilities will include: 

  • Monitoring KPIs for department
  • Keeping spreadsheets updated 
  • Printing delivery notes 
  • Answering emails 
  • Booking collections with carriers 
  • Answering phone calls 
  • Arranging exports for customers. (Commercial invoices and all logistic issues)
  • Cross checking department invoices 
  • Filing paperwork and delivery notes
  • Arranging 1st mile service deliveries for hazardous classed equipment back to factories.
  • Maintaining diary management external couriers.
  • ADR understanding.
  • Preparing and processing all necessary documentation including quotes, invoices, customs clearances, receipts, and any additional documents needed

39 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am-3.30pm

Required skills

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Logistics / supply chain experience essential
