Job Title: Logistics Administrator

Company: Putney Car Hire Company

Location: Putney (initial training required on-site, then 100% remote)

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum

Hours: Up to 42 hours per week

About Our Client: Our client, a prominent car hire company based in Putney, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Administrator to join their team. With a commitment to exceptional customer service and efficiency, our client is at the forefront of providing reliable rental services in the Putney area.

Job Description: The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Administrator to oversee the logistical operations of their car hire business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating vehicle movements, ensuring timely delivery and collection, and maintaining accurate records of inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery and collection of rental vehicles to and from various locations.
  • Schedule pickups and drop-offs in collaboration with drivers and customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, including availability and condition.
  • Resolve logistical issues or delays efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilize logistics software and tools to optimize scheduling and routing.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in logistics, administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
  • Flexibility to work up to 42 hours per week.
  • Must be available for one week of training at the Putney office before transitioning to remote work.
