JR164: Loft Insulator

Location: Cornwall

Salary: £35,000 per annum DOE + company vehicle

Overview:

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily schedules, collect insulation materials, and conduct risk assessments.
  • Install loft insulation, fit eave trays, raised storage boards, and remove pre-existing insulation.
  • Communicate issues to the Install manager and maintain exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure completion of necessary documentation and post-installation evidence / photographs is supplied correctly and on time.
  • Adhere to industry and company quality standards for all work.
  • Maintain safety protocols, including van, ladder, and PPE checks,
  • Complete draft-proofing to loft hatches.
  • Install insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete insulation projects- Work with a team to complete projects within specified deadlines

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in insulation installation.
  • Knowledge of insulation materials and their applications
  • Must hold NVQ 2 In loft insulation or working towards
  • Advantage if the candidate holds NVQ 2 in Cavity wall Insulation / extraction or has experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
