We are recruiting for a new opportunity for a Chinese Speaking Locum Property Solicitor to assist a London based law firm on an ongoing basis.
The Opportunity
Birchrose Associates are partnering with a L500 law firm to recruit for a Chinese Speaking Locum Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to assist whilst they recruit on a permanent basis. The role will be based from their office in London.
This assignment is to start ASAP for an initial duration of 3 months, with potential to extend beyond this point. The locum is free to work full time or part time, with a minimum of 3 days per week required.
Responsibilities
The successful Locum will manage a caseload including the following matters:
- Handling the sale and purchase of residential property
- Dealing with freehold and leasehold transactions
- Re-mortgages
- Transfer of equity matters
- Handling matters from inception through to completion
The locum will benefit from secretarial support.

Requirements
- The Locum being a fluent Chinese speaker is a requirement for this role
- At least 3 years experience as a Locum Property Solicitor
- Experience handling busy and varied conveyancing caseloads
- Ability to work self-sufficiently and hit the ground running in a locum role
