Locum Contracts Manager

                                                Interim Contracts Manager – up to £45 per hour Umbrella – Hybrid Working – 3-6 Months + - Midlands
 
Position: Interim Contracts Manager
Organisation: University  
Duration: 3 months initial contract with the likelihood of further extension
Working Pattern: Full time ideally but part time candidates who possess the relevant experience may also be considered
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working – 2 days a week office attendance required
Hourly Rate: £45 per hour Umbrella (dependant on experience)
 
This is a position ideally looking for those who have existing experience of working within Higher Education primarily working with Contracts to include Research Contracts and Industrial Contracts.
 
Duties may include:

• Supporting the Organisation review, draft and negotiate a significant number of contracts such as Research Contracts and Industrial Contracts
• Providing clear, pragmatic advice on the implications of contractual terms within the context of Research, using a comprehensive working knowledge of Research Contract issues
• Ensure that contractual terms are clear and appropriate, and that institutional risk is identified and appropriately assessed within each Contract
• Play a key role in the continual on-going review of the Organisation’s range of template agreements and processes for Contract negotiation and administration
• Maintain, develop and build effective working relationships with all stakeholders
