Description

• Managing secondary loan settlement processes, ensuring timely and accurate settlement of the trades. Transactions include IAFD and Stratum related purchases and sales.
• Liaising with internal and external counterparties such as, though not limited to, ESD, EIOD, MBE, EAD Tax team, agent banks and trade counterparties for necessary arrangement of loan settlement and booking.
• Understanding, reviewing, and drafting LMA standard documents and other trade-related documents including confirms, assignment agreements, sub-participation agreements, pricing letters and multilateral agreements.
• Conducting KYC / AML analysis on trade counterparties
• Preparing internal documents required for booking / funding for settlement and instruct EIOD in a timely manner
• Keeping accurate trade record and maintain a healthy aging profile and driving reduced settlement times.

Profile

• Highly numerate and experience in loan closing
• Knowledge & understanding of bank reporting / operation / loans admin environment
• Knowledge of credit agreements and transfer mechanics
• Technical knowledge of leveraged finance, corporate finance, syndicated loan market and trading environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multitask and work accurately whilst under pressure
• Self-motivation with tangible examples of demonstrating drive and initiative and be highly organised.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Understanding of basic compliance rules
• Knowledge of Loan IQ and ClearPar preferred.
