Silver and Bow is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a prestigious private estate in Henley-on-Thames. Situated amidst picturesque countryside scenery, this role offers the chance to work in a formal yet relaxed environment in a existing team, working for a family of four. The housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and organisation throughout the main house and exterior buildings, encompassing all aspects of housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe management and delicate item care. As the family travels frequently, there will be downtime when they are away. Flexibility is essential as the housekeeper will be expected to work longer hours when the family is in residence. The ideal candidate will possess good initiative and have a positive approach to work.

Duties and responsibilities:
• All aspects of housekeeping to an exceptional standard
• Washing and ironing
• Wardrobe management
• Care of delicates
• Light service duties when the family is in residence.

Requirements:
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards throughout the property
• Proficiency in handling delicate items with care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work longer hours when the family is in residence.
• Genuine passion for countryside living and willingness to embrace the lifestyle.

Accomodation if required is a 4 bedroom farm house, with kitchen, living area and bathroom on the grounds of the estate.


Days/hours: 5 days per week, 9am-5pm with flexibility to work additional hours when the principals are in residence
