Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Live Build Manufacturing Technician to work a contract for an initial period of 12 months from their major site in Henlow.
Responsibilities: As the appointed Live Build Manufacturing Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the Live Build Facility, responsible for executing manufacturing, test, and inspection tasks in accordance with product certification procedures, allocated budgets, and timescales to meet project objectives. Your specific responsibilities include:
- Certifying products in line with the product certification procedure.
- Maintaining product certification and approval through regular audits.
- Possessing a versatile skill base to apply across a range of tasks.
- Being fully conversant with all equipment, tools, and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.
- Ensuring manufacturing build, inspection, and relevant test times are met.
- Checking and completing all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
- Maintaining workmanship standards and product quality at the highest level.
- Ensuring compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to a good housekeeping policy.
- Communicating best practices to other team members.
Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will:
- Have a formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21/ONC.
- Bring experience in a Manufacturing/Craftsman position.
- Possess ESD training.
- Live Build training (will be provided).
