About The Role
  • Set up (not creation) and operation of AV media for centrally produced show content
  • Ensure all shows are consistently delivered to a high standard
  • Liaising and working with visiting artistes and engineers
  • Carry out basic levels of maintenance /repairs of lighting equipment (including soldering, wiring)
  • Working at Height
  • To have a working knowledge of DMX on the set up of new show support or effects
  • Assist with the creative element of the performance through lighting and audio visual
  • To adhere to Health and Safety procedures (Stage and Backstage areas)
  • Basic stage craft duties
  • Assisting in the setting of stage scenery
  • Lifting and carrying equipment and sets (including the unloading and loading of vehicles)
  • Inspire and motivate other team members with passion, energy and commitment

About You


The ideal person to take up a role as a lighting and audio visual technician in the technical support team would be someone that has a working knowledge of various lighting consoles, Midi control, time coding and a good working knowledge of intelligent lighting fixtures; in conjunction with knowledge of audio visual systems/programmes; QLab, Resolume, (Mac) are preferable.

The candidate would have a good understanding of electrical systems, power distribution equipment rigging and suspension, alongside experience in basic lighting maintenance (including soldering, electrical wiring) understanding of LED screen technology, video mixing and switching.  
Our lighting and audio visual technicians play a critical part in the technical support team and we look for committed, flexible team players with good communication skills, a problem solving attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
