We have a unique role open for a Light Assembly Technician to work within a company that produce aerospace and defence produces.

It's a role where you operate special machinery used to chemically coat optics, this can include working with special vacuum machinery & too tight tolerances. You will need to follow specific instructions, clean down parts, and handle chemicals.

Some of the work may be completed within a clean room environment where you wear protective clothing including gowns.

It starts off as a fixed day shift for but will very quickly move to a rotating early and late shift (working the shift work is a dealbreaker).

It's a nice role for someone who loves assembly, loves working with detailed, delicate products and a person who is super dexterous.

WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED

This is going to be a very popular role however we do need someone who has worked within assembly before and flexible enough to work the shift. There will be a huge amount of training, so this client is looking for someone who has showing commitment to an employer with at least 2 year's experience at the same place.

We would also consider a graduate who has a degree is some kind of engineering discipline.
