I am recruiting a Lifecycle Project Manager to join and manage a school account. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for scoping, planning, and delivering all lifecycle requirements at the site, leading both minor works and major refurbishment projects. Reporting to the Regional Account Director, the candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations.

Main Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Develop tender specifications for refurbishment works, including building fabric, fixtures, fittings, and furniture.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain and clients to select products and finishes that meet contractual obligations and client expectations.
  • Work with the Technical Services Manager to specify Mechanical & Electrical lifecycle works.
  • Coordinate with local maintenance teams to identify lifecycle requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Account Director to shape the long-term Lifecycle plan.
  • Manage lifecycle budgets, forecasts, and expenditure using the Coupa procurement system.
  • Schedule all works and activities, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
  • Review delivery routes to ensure best value.
  • Manage in-house lifecycle craftsmen and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations for all lifecycle activities.
  • Manage main contractors for major refurbishment projects.
  • Conduct snagging and provide final approval for completed works.
  • Support internal stakeholders for planned works.
  • Update O&M manuals and PPM activities following work delivery.
  • Manage warranty periods for new equipment and fixtures.
  • Assist with day-to-day FM operations as needed.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

Essential:

  • Significant experience in a similar or related role.
  • Practical knowledge of building fabric / M&E refurbishment works at a supervisory or managerial level.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Office, Excel, Project, etc).
  • Experience in budget and expenditure management.

Desirable:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • SMSTS Accreditation.
  • PRINCE2 Certificate.
  • Experience in Facilities Management contract delivery.
  • Familiarity with Maximo 7.5 / 7.6.
