LGV Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join a team in Harlow. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

The company are based in Harlow. There is a permanent position available, but they would be open to temporary cover in the interim, 37.5 hours per week 8am- 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

THE ROLE:

· Carry out vehicle inspections, repairs and services

· Prepare and submit Vehicles for MOT

· Conduct test drives

· Undertake fault diagnosis and repair

· Provide roadside assistance

· Undertake repairs to accident damaged vehicles.

· Replace tyres and repair punctures

THE CANDIDATE:

· Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance

· A current driving licence

· Proven workshop experience.

· A good understanding of Electrical hydraulics
