Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join our supply team, providing day-to-day support in various educational settings across Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and adaptable individual who is eager to make a positive impact on students’ learning experiences.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide classroom support to teachers across different year groups and subjects, adapting to each classroom’s unique environment and needs.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the setup of equipment, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts, under the direction of the teacher.
  • Support students with special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to student evaluations.
  • Manage classroom behaviour, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Assist with the organisation of school events and activities, contributing to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working within an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of educational principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings and teaching styles.
  • A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
