Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant?

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are looking for a Full-Time HLTA to work within a Primary School in the BS5 area of Bristol.

This school is part of a large Academy Trust who seek to ensure young people receive inspiring education and that they are supported and challenged to meet high expectations.



The Role

This role is a full-time position, from September where you will be working with the Teachers of the school to support interventions and PPA cover.

The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who can contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities, supporting the work of Qualified Teachers.

You will also be working closely with the Teachers to develop core subject interventions to support individual children with their personal knowledge of English and Maths.

You will be expected to:

  • Have a real passion for working with all Primary Aged children.

  • Be able to engage children in their learning.

  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff and parents.

  • Thrive on challenging children’s abilities.

  • Have previous teaching experience and a great knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.

  • Have experience working with SEND children in the past.
