Teach Plus are currently working with a 3-form entry, diverse and vibrant primary school who are seeking a Nursery Nurse/Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a Reception Class from June 2024.

The school is an inclusive school that is rich in culture, dedicated teachers and teaching assistants work to the highest of standards to ensure pupils have the very best learning opportunities and build strong relationships with parents, pupils and colleagues.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant you will be expected to:

• Establish positive relationships with the pupils, parents, class teachers and other members of staff across the school
• Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
• Support the lead teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and document the progress of each child and communicate observations to the lead teacher
• Set up continuous provision indoors and outdoors
• Run Interventions and Phonics Booster sessions

The ideal candidate will have:

• CACHE Level 3 or Level 3 in Supporting and Teaching in Learning
• Experience working in an EYFS setting
• Experience teaching Phonics
• A flexible, proactive attitude who are passionate about improving the environment and learning for all pupils
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
