Job Title: Full-Time Level 3 PractitionerLocation: Oundle, Northamptonshire

Job Description: As a Level 3 Practitioner at our nursery, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas, including language development in our dedicated space.
  • Creating a nurturing and stimulating "home from home" environment where children feel safe, secure, and valued.
  • Incorporating forest school settings and community outings to enhance outdoor learning experiences and connect with the local environment.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, including following safer sleep practices and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere within the nursery community.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in an early years setting and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and best practices in childcare.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Safer sleep training and experience with forest school or outdoor learning are desirable but not essential.
