When you join Randstad, you'll have a dedicated consultant who truly understands your background and aspirations. We are looking for nurturing and creative nursery assistants. Our client relies on us to find dedicated early years staff who prioritise children's needs above all else.

Based in Leeds, our client offers nursery assistant positions catering to children aged 3 months to five years. Activities are adjusted to be age appropriate between groups and incorporate the EYFS.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Engaging children in age-appropriate activities to support their development
  • Assisting with children's hygiene routines and meal times
  • Creating a safe and welcoming learning environment
  • Maintaining daily diary records to share with parents/carers
  • Communicating children's progress to key workers for accurate record-keeping

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (can be obtained through Randstad if needed)
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Level 2 qualification or equivalent (desirable)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Motivated work ethic
  • Familiarity with the EYFS curriculum (desirable)
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
