Job Title: LEV Engineer
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £25k - £45k + Training + Benefits
We are recruiting for an industry leading LEV / Clean Air company who have a strong presence working on Manufacturing, Commercial, and Industrial sites. Our client is now looking to recruit an LEV Engineer to cover contracts across the North East. This role would suit a candidate who has experience carrying out Local Exhaust Ventilation testing, conducting air flow checks, upselling company products to new and existing clients as well as maintaining excellent rapport with clients and providing excellent consultancy advice.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Middlesbrough, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Redcar, Darlington, Stockton on Tees, Peterlee, Durham, Consett, Sunderland, Barnard Castle, Gateshead, South Shields, Tynemouth, Hartlepool, Morpeth, Ashington, Hexham.
Experience & Qualifications:
" At a minimum will hold the P601 qualification.
" Will have experience working with in an engineering position for an established Clean Air / LEV company.
" Able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Health & Safety / COSHH guidelines.
" Will have excellent communication skills.
" Able to organise workload effectively.
" Will be IT literate, experience using CAD would be beneficial to the role.
The Role:
" Carrying out Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing, validation, and maintenance across a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Installing and commissioning of new LEV systems.
" Continuously finding opportunities to upsell company services and products in to new and existing clients.
" Conducting air flow checks on existing systems.
" Undertaking site visits in line with client requirements.
" Providing clients with excellent technical support and advice.
" Working in accordance with Health & Safety / COSHH guidelines.
" Using information from site to produce detailed reports.
