Our client is a local estate agent located in Mill Hill East and specialises in the sale and rental of residential property in the Millbrook Park community. The company focuses on building personal relationships with clients and providing honest, transparent communication throughout the sales and lettings process. The team has over 15 years of experience in the industry and is committed to serving the local community with a versatile approach to online marketing and social media. They are now looking for a Lettings Manager to focus on growing the Lettings portfolio in Mill Hill East, Millbrook Park and surrounding areas.

This is a contract (commission only) hybrid role for a Lettings professional with intimate knowledge of the lettings industry and focussed on growing the lettings side of the business.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Prospecting existing on and off market opportunities to generate market appraisals
  • Carry out and close market appraisals
  • Attending valuations and negotiate prices with Landlords to achieve a larger property portfolio
  • Organise and carry out viewings
  • Lettings administration such as contract drafting and tenant referencing
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with all Landlords to help you acquire future business with them

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience booking and converting lettings market appraisals into instructions
  • An understanding of letting portfolio management
  • A true professional with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinker
  • You must be highly driven and enthusiastic, with a proven ability to build strong professional relationships with clients
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proven track record in closing deals
  • Experience in the property industry is essential
  • A relevant degree or ARLA Propertymark Certification is a plus
  • It would be beneficial to have a good knowledge of the local area
  • An up-to-date understanding of market trends, local property values and an awareness of the local competition.
