Experienced Lettings Coordinator required for busy Truro letting agency with earnings in the region of £24,500 PA plus excellent benefits including pension.

Our client is a long-established firm of Estate and Letting agents in the Truro area. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Lettings Coordinator with at least 1 year’s lettings experience to work in their Truro office. You will provide administration support to the Lettings Team as directed by the Lettings Manager and to assist in the effective and efficient operation of the department, aiding them in managing existing business and to provide the highest level of customer service to all clients, landlords and tenants.

Role Objectives

  • To provide administration support to the Lettings Team as directed by the Lettings Manager and to assist in the effective and efficient operation of the Lettings Department.
  • To assist the Lettings Team to manage existing business. To provide the highest level of customer service to all Clients, Landlords and Tenants.
  • To work as part of team, undertaking duties necessary to assist in the smooth running of the department and assisting other members of the team. Any other duties as directed by Management.

Main Duties
Admin/Tenancy Managing

  • Negotiating renewals
  • Drawing up new tenancy agreements
  • Answering telephone and monitoring of departmental emails
  • Deal with enquiries and be able to book appointments in the diary for viewings and market appraisals.
  • Keys - to tag keys, record the key number and to ensure keys are signed in and out in accordance with company procedure.
  • Any other administrative duties, as determined by the Lettings Manager, required to assist the daily running of the business.
  • Monitoring and management of departmental emails.
  • Registration of applicants - those received either by telephone or via internet registration.

Accounts

  • Processing payments to Landlords
  • Posting invoices for payment
  • Processing the move ins

Maintenance

  • Pick up maintenance as and when needed.
  • Liaise with landlords and contractors.
  • Put quotes forward to landlords and organise works needed
  • Deal with booking all safety certificates needed
  • Deal with booking inspections
  • Deal with deposit disputes

Hours are 8:45am to 5:30pm. In return our client is offering earnings in the of region of £24,500 (basic £22,500 then commission based on lettings office income so very stable) plus benefits. Call Fran Kent for more information.
